i found it funny this was circulating among jw's.. the lord saw the land in the year 2010. the land was overpopulated and bad.

seriously, half day in (already had an argument with the wife this morning about individuality in the organization in which she conceded that a lot of it is based on looks) and this is already getting on my nerves.

i'll post a rebuttal based on my annotations later in the week but one thing i got to get off my mind: saying the feminist movement (women going to work instead of staying home) and the diversity laws (allowing for homosexuality - but also religious freedom, racial discrimination etc.

) caused a lot of the problems in our world right from the stage.. there are less people here than last year - about 500 less..

Donations within the congregation

spurred by godrulz question regarding tithing, here is the "voluntary donation" graph for one congregation (https://anonfiles.com/cdn/1310042378588.pdf).

i know this is statistically not precise enough as the data set is small but it shows the trend of worldwide work donations.. for those that have no insight into the different funds:.

worldwide work = sent to the branch offices for various expenses (mostly given as a donation for watchtower literature).

so we had a 'special' visitor today in our hall, somebody from patterson, young fellow with a wife.

off course i didn't catch that at first until he started name dropping in the first 5 minutes that he was from bethel .

so he goes on rambling about how we live in the last days and blah-di-blah .

so this is the basic logical flaw in christianity i believe.

a brother identified it from the stage for me in a talk.

we all agree (as christians and jw's) that the ransom was necessary because adam lost his perfection and everlasting life.. this is a paraphrase from the talk:.

maybe some of you can share your stories, experiences and let me know how far you kicked it before you either left or got booted.

my intention is to get people thinking.. - a couple of weeks ago i had a demonstration on stage.

first of all i noticed that they basically complained a lot about being persecuted but have to dig deep to get examples of real physical abuse:.

russia and surrounding states: they are being accused of being extremist a notion they somewhat admit and books are being banned although sources in russia say even though the ban has been set by a court it is not being enforced since they're appealing to the ehcr.. turkey: a zoning law requires them to change a kh building.

really, persecution to appeal to the ehcr to?

as you may have heard if you attended recently, social networking is of the devil and many have been 'lead astray' by website supposedly set up for jw.
